I started this because I need a new challenge. I’ve lost 7 stone in the past 2 years and I can now walk 10 miles without breaking a sweat, so I thought running would give me the new challenge I needed, and boy oh boy is it tough! I recovered from agonising sciatica this year and I need to feel strong and fit again. Hopefully this will give me that.

A very warm welcome to the gang!
I think many here will agree, you've just completed the toughest run of the program.
Make sure you keep well hydrated, take it nice and slow and you'll do well.
There is plenty of support here to help you through.
Keep posting and let us know how you get on!
