Just completed this run, it was hard today. Think I was a bit sleep deprived after the massive thunderstorm that kept me awake last night. My left thigh was hurting me a bit today? Maybe I need to stretch a bit more? I did Zumba on Wednesday night though for first time in 4 weeks so it could have been that!
It sure does feel good when you get to the end though.

Stick with it. It is worth it. There are so many things that can affect a run and some are tougher than others. The stretches on the NHS Choices web page are great. I hold each one for 20 secs, cos someone said that you need longer than 15 secs. Aches and pains all but disappeared for me after about week 5. It is amazing how your body adapts to the new demands that you put on it. Keep smiling..
Well done you. I did my week 2 run 1 this afternoon and had a sore right thigh! Did some stretches and hopefully it will feel better next time. Took the dog with me this time, she loved it! Stupid boxer, no brains!
