Hello.

Joining in to express how much I am enjoying the C25K course. I am a lapsed runner and now nearing 50 I knew jogging is the most efficient way to get in some regular exercise but had no idea how to start again without either hurting myself or being so miserable that I would not build up the habit.

I’ve repeated a couple of weeks due to a cold and a non running related injury but I am in no rush. In fact I don’t really want it to end as it has really given me a focus and I like putting in the earphones and being told what to do!

Other observations compared to when I ran 10years ago. I now accept I am a plodder and don’t worry about pace compared to “strava buddies”. I now also appreciate the mood boosting qualities more than before.

In summary, the course works, the app is great and reading the encouragement on this site is the icing on the cake. Happy New Year everyone.
