After nursing my foot tendon and giving it rehab for over a week I was getting stir crazy so on my birthday yesterday I launched off out to do the run with fingers or feet crossed??
Cold but dry and with my son encouraging me to succeed I did the run with no issues and returned to find my beloveds had prepared me a birthday breakfast with cards and gifts. What a brilliant start to the day!
Today foot is still fine so am back on the programme! Yaaaay

Thank you for birthday wishes. Will watch foot a lot!
Well done! There’s nothing quite like coming off the injury couch. I had a similar tendon injury around week 8 too and I know how frustrating it is. Great that you’re back to it! 😊
Thank you! I found some good rehab exercises on uTube which helped. I think one foot is more susceptible to injury so may need to get an insole of some sort. It was mentioned when I did gait analysis.
Thank you for birthday wishes! I did love being spoiled and I am beyond excited to soon reach the final sign off!! My target to do that is before 20th January 🌵😬
I had a lovely day thank you 😊 and it was so good to be running again. My son said to me afterwards that’s it’s addictive isn’t it and I agree! Sadly he is still nursing an injury so can’t run at the moment and couldn’t run with me 😢.
So glad your foot stood up to the test and it sounds like an extra special birthday too. Cheers from me as well 🥂.
You were braver than me; after my week off for Xmas I am repeating week 7, though, as you say, just 3 more minutes is all in the head and easily done 🤗.
Look forward to seeing you get to week 9 and following you to graduation in January!?!?! 🏃♀️👍😯😸
