Sorry, that's about how I feel, after a lake of gin, a mountain of chocolate and an enforced nine day break.
Took my own advice and got straight back out there on my first day home. Only did my second fastest 5k ever! Still not sub 30 minutes, but 34 is really good for me. New Christmas leggings, too warm for the new running jacket. Sun shining and enjoyed myself.
Onward and upward π

All that gin and chocolate must have done you some good π€£π€£
Who would have thought we would be saying too warm in December , here in the UK anyway.
Congratulations on your second fastest 5k.

Two of my 5 a day? π€
Something else that's pleased me - no sign of niggling hip injury. Christmas seems to have sorted it.π€

See.. a rest is as good as a run :-).
It's no good, I'm going to have to get my butt off the couch before I open another bottle

Go do it! I'd forgotten how good it makes me feel. And less guilty for eyeing up a bottle of wine π

Great effort, the break obviously did you good. Weird weather just now, I was in T-shirt today after running in 3 layers last weekend

One of the good things about having family all over the place is that I had my first visit to Decathlon in Stockpot. Leggings, t shirt and socks. π
My son bought me a ronhill everyday jacket, mostly because I hate the wind. I need some bad weather now.

It was a surprise to me. I have been doing 5 or 6ks for a while now, but I felt I was dragging round quite a quantity of Christmas pudding.
