This morning I completed W5R3. I am in absolute shock. It wasn’t easy but for all new starters who look forward and are worried about this run...if I can do it, you can!
I started the program at 22st and ran in my big coat and jeans! I was so nervous about anybody seeing me run I got up at 6am when no one was about.
I have Atrial Fibrillation and arthritis in my knees (got ok from GP to run)
Today I weigh 20st 7lb. I ran at 6am but because it’s my favourite time of day. I wore a hoodie and jogging bottoms. I waved to a cyclist as we passed each other and despite all the gremlins in my head.......I need a wee (I didn’t). My legs hurt already (they didn’t). Are you ridiculous? (I’m not). Is that a stone in my shoe? (It was). I can’t run for 20 mins (I can).
I did it ..... and it feels fabulous 😀
Trust the programme.....you can do this!!!!

I've just ran week 6 run 1 twice as I had a virus and didn't want to push myself. I've looked at run 2 and 3 and they step up such a lot. Keep saying I can do it but 25 minutes on run 3!! ??
Of course you can do 25 mins. You’ve already completed W5R3 which is 20mins. It’s only 5 mins more and you’ve had runs in between. Have faith in yourself and the programme xx
Well done Twinkle! You must feel so proud - it’s a fantastic achievement! You’ll have seen from today’s posts that several of us did Run 3 today so we can all go forward into week 6 in the knowledge that we’re not doing it on our own! Enjoy your running and see you on week 6!
Such an inspirational read!! Massive congratulations for your dedication and your improved positive attitude to your running. And your weight loss! So good to read. Good luck with the rest of the programme. Look forward to your next post!! Not long to graduation now 😃🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️
