Well I managed to complete week 8 this morning. It was my 2nd outdoor run and I found it harder as I’ve a touch of a cold and there was a bit of a breeze. The sort of breeze you wouldn’t even notice if u were walking but when ur running head on into it u notice alright!! I felt slower than slow today but happy nonetheless as I did it! Now I need to try and figure out if I can graduate next week as my kids r off for the hols and we will be away visiting family. I suppose it can wait! I’m annoyed I didn’t start this a week earlier hahaha! Blooming Christmas eh 🙄🎅🏼😂

I know how you feel, I have a holiday booked starting on Boxing Day and it’s really going to mess with my running! 😂😂
Congratulations getting this far especially through the winter months. Just do what you can do with no guilt trips. Enjoy family time it is very precious, the running will still be there.

Hahahaha yip, I think I must be! And do u know what else? I’ve realised that most places do great offers on sportswear in the new year for all those people setting their resolutions so I’m excited to see what bargains I can add to my ever increasing fitness wardrobe 😂 Girls got it bad 🤷🏻♀️
Well done, I'm behind this week do wk8r2&3 are carrying over till next week now due to shift pattern and nasty bugs. Gutted as next week should have completed it but hopefully I'll try and catch up now just hope I wont struggle after nearly a week off x
Ah I was wondering about u. Sorry to hear u have not been well. Fingers crossed ur free of germs soon. I had a touch of a cold on my last run and it’s gotten a bit worse so hoping tomorrow I’ll be fit to do 9.1.... I’ve read on here that u won’t lose ur physical fitness in a couple of weeks but I know what u mean. Think it’s more a mental thing but then u know that a lot of these runs have tested us mentally anyway. Good luck when u do get out and keep us posted x
