Woohoo! I found it a breeze! Surprise, surprise! So much so that for the runs 2 and 3 I ran 30 minutes! Lovely fewling and I felt I could have gone on but did not want to push my luck!
Now my question is, I did not even cover 4K in my 30 minutes so realistically, after a week I ahould be able to so 4k at best right? The 5 k can come later??

Yep. The aim of the programme is to get you running non-stop for 30 mins, it's just that 'Couch to 5k' is a catchier title. So you've cracked it! (By the way, I've just run my first 10k, and I still can't run 5k in anything like 30 mins!)
Many folk do not do 5K within 30 minutes, before Graduation or for a long time afterwards, if ever! The whole idea is just to run for the three runs of 30 minutes in Week 9
Well done you.. enjoy the slow and steady runs towards the podium
Absolutely! Thanks alot for keeping an eye on us newbies, the encouragement and the sound advice! I am moving house so haven’t run for 4 days now and am itching to start week 9...tomorrow it shall be slotted somewhere between the movers!
