I’ve done C25K (took months!)

I’ve done 11 parkruns

Now I’ve actually run 10k non stop!! NON STOP!!!

Took me over 1 1/4 hours, but actually managed it!!!!

I can’t quite believe it.

This programme works miracles!

Congratulations on your first 10k. When you think back to how this all started with 60 seconds of running. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘

Wow and well done you! I love hearing from people who are ahead of me; it gives me something to aspire to, as I want to be running that sort of distance when I am ready. I live at the foot of the South Downs in a beautiful part of the country, so the idea of going out of my front door and ending up out there is a tonic for the soul!

Thank you, I agree, hearing people’s progress is really encouraging. At the end of the day it’s just perseverance. Good luck

That's excellent. 1 hour 15 is about the time I typically aim for when I'm just running 10k "casually", i.e. not as an organised run; so for a first attempt, that is an excellent time to achieve. My PB is 1 hour 4 btw, but 1:15 or 7:30/km is typically my "easy pace" that I do most of my running at.

Oooo how interesting! That’s encouraging. I went very slow to start as I’ve not run more than about 7k. Still amazed I’ve done it! Now where’s those biscuits 😁
