I am feeling really proud of myself having completed this yesterday. I never thought I would be able to do this, but I have! I am still really slow, but want to be more safe than sorry. I tried starting to run Sept 2018, and started trying park runs, and was doing ok, but then fell badly in March 2019 and hurt myself quite badly so had to stop for a while. Finally, I got my braves and started C25K in October this year. I decided this time to wait until I could run for 30 minutes before I do a park run, so, only a few more weeks to go. It’s hard, as I have literally never run before, and am mid fifties now, but I am determined to do it, and am quite excited now! Onwards and upwards. I

Well done RunRa. I turn 50 next year and never run before but wanted to try to get a bit fitter as I can no longer keep up with my 8yo daughter!

This program is great and I also can’t believe how much I’m now enjoying running! Just completed wk7

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3 /25 minute runs.

Brilliant...It's great isn't it? No fitness to a 25 min run within a few months. I am also mid 50s and competed week 6 ...a real sense of achievement...now consolidation!
