All done! I won't say it was easy but admittedly, the time did feel as if it went fairly quickly.

I do prefer the "longer" uninterrupted runs rather than the interval running up to this point. Now, who'd have thought I'd be saying I prefer longer runs, and only after six weeks of this programme? Go, programme go :) :)

Iโ€™m the same I prefer just running, even accidentally, to the run walk. Donโ€™t worry though, your next interval sessions will be run, run slower, run, run slower... theyโ€™re easier in my mind.

Great job and now just 9 to go. Youโ€™ve done all the work needed to take the upcoming increments and smash them. Great job.

Thanks. It'll be interesting to see how 3 x "long runs" pan out. No more interval running; just long runs, lol. But then, that's why we're doing the programme!! And you're right! Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow :)

Brilliant. You are doing great ๐Ÿ‘. Iโ€™m in week 7 now and like you, prefer the longer runs. Itโ€™s a good sign that you felt it went quickly. Great to hear the positive impact the programme is having ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Cheers. Let's hope I feel the same way at W7R3! I'm confident but will admit to feeling a little apprehensive. But, I know the programme has set me up for this :)

Me, too!

It's difficult to explain, and I never thought I would be a person that would prefer the longer runs. But what I discovered about myself is that the starting up is the hardest part. It's like once I have stopped running then get used to walking it's absolute torture to try to run again. Whether I had been running 30 minutes or running 5 minutes. My body does not want to switch back to running.

Some days I wonder what would happen if a dog charged at me during my cool down, haha. I tend to believe I would just lie on the ground and cry rather than attempt to run away.

I'd be the same. I'd let the dog lick me to death!!

Well done! Youโ€™ll love the longer runs. ๐Ÿ˜€ You can relax into them, find your happy pace and bumble along (me) or run happily until the end. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Personally Iโ€™m on a high all day after my runs, and even when Iโ€™m cooling down after one Iโ€™m looking forward to the next one! Have fun - youโ€™re doing brilliantly! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Thanks. I definitely agree with the "high", and it's free ;)

The runs are great aren't they ? It gives your new emerging running running legs, time to find their own happy pace:)

Pop in some extra strength and stamina exercise now, as the runs get longer:)

Thanks. Not sure I'm ready for anything else at the moment, but I'm sure I'll fit in some extra work at some point :)
