W6R1 delayed by a day due other stuff!

Cold start at 0730 but quiet. It was quite slippy in parts. Did know that this run was a mix of walk/run after last weeks 20 minute run so thought I’d take it as it came.

Got to the last run and was expecting 8 minutes so the shorter run was an unexpected surprise! That had me smiling!

Granddaughter announced she wants to run with me this week so I hope she doesn’t run rings round me literally!! She does school cross countries so is a fit 11yo🏃‍♀️. How do I explain that old age has its downsides 🤣. ie tortoise pace.

Think I need a warmer jacket so Decathlon tomorrow for me. That’s my excuse anyway to shop 😉.

Great you enjoyed your run. Tell your granddaughter we are told to run slow😂. Hope you enjoy shopping for a new jacket. I just got my decathlon delivery today a body warmer and gloves .

Ah body warmer.. that’s sounds the business 😊my gloves are Decathlon ones and they are just great. Enjoy them both! As to granddaughter pace - I will show her Michael’s voice telling me sloooow down. Actually she gets a stitch sometimes and his advice is slow down so that’s it!!

Oooooh, well done for getting out there for Week 6 but take care in the icy conditions, especially when the ice is covered by leaves. Decathlon sounds brilliant - we don't have any here, so I think a visit to my daughter in Tooting might be the answer. I still need those new trainers..... Enjoy your shopping trip and the run with your granddaughter - I expect you will run rings round HER! 🏃‍♀️😁

😊 thank you. Yes lots of leaves too..new jacket and gilet bought in Decathlon 😍. Had to exit quick in case I spent more money! Rings around 11 yo.. I wish!!!
