Started wk 3 and did it solo

Decided to go it alone as he's still not well

Felt strange and I knew I was going to fast at first

almost to get it over with , then slowed right down almost to a standstill

Now Very Happy that I managed wk 3 R1 and actually was the furthest run so far

Cool down walk listening to homeward bound

Felt good!

Great for getting out in your own when you're used to a running buddy. Well done you 😊😊

Thanks it felt odd, and feeling guilty, but I'll redo runs with him as now I know the benefit of repeats

Thanks I feel good now

I’ll be training on my own on Saturday for the first time. Not looking forward to it. So I do hope I feel as good as you afterwards. Well done. πŸ˜„

Great work. Well done for recognising you were going to fast. Took me a while for that to sink in!

And a big well done for keeping at it alone

Well done for pushing yourself out on your own and another one for recognising you were going too fast and slowing down. Mind you if you went further than before you must have had a good pace! Presumably the Homeward Bound you were appropriately listening to was Simon & Garfunkel? I have another Homeward Bound as my mobile ringtone by a composer called Jack Trombey (it's the theme tune from Monty Python & the Holy Grail!)

Hi sorry I am getting slightly confused

But have wanted to say how enjoyable your posts are. Especially fear of being seen, it's why we run in the evenings

I think I went further as the walks between were faster than we do together, he's never liked fast walking !

Yes S & G I shall check out yours 😊

That's brilliantπŸ₯³. You are obviously getting used to a pace that works for youπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ. Music sounds good . I still have to work out how to keep earplugs in and music not cutting out.....! πŸ€”

I'm not that tech but I start Spotify (free version wait for ad to fin, then start C25K app and it's worked ok so far

Have seen hats and headbands with wireless speakers might give them a try, πŸ‘πŸ»

A headband over my ears might do the trick, thanks for that..... 😁
