I too suffered with the stitch in the first couple of weeks, make sure you are drinking plenty of water everyday and take deep breathes as you run. That’s the advise I was given and it seems to work for means I’m now onto week 6.
It is to do with your breathing and your diaphragm. Try some tummy breathing (tummy fills like a balloon when you breathe in, contracts back in when you breathe out).
Drink lots of water-even on your rest days. And slooooooooooow your running down 👍🏻
Thanks for the great advice
Week 2 run 2 went like a dream no issues or stitches
Usually going to fast can cause this , so slow down . 😊
I sometimes get stitch in my side and even in my shoulder! I find slowing down can help. Also deep, slow breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth and massaging the affected area.
Welcome to the forum and well done
on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There's some advice in Laura's commentary in week 4, I think it is, about dealing with stitches.
