W5R3 couldn’t duck this!

So it was 0730 and cold 🥶. Thought I would collect newspaper at the end of the run so did a new route. I kept thinking am I able to do this but half way Michael reassured me that I was ready and it was just a mental thing.

I carried on diverted by squirrels, did the belly breathing and all of a sudden it just seemed to be fine! Dodged Iceland unloader, was stared at by young lads who were very amused and there I was at the newsagents! Got the paper, cool down walk home and all of a sudden that seemed boring and I wanted to run 🤣. Am I mad??

Great stuff, well done you! And no, not mad, just a case of catching the running bug. ☺

No, you are not mad, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊.

Diverted by squirrels, 😂

It felt quite a milestone run 🏃‍♀️! Thank you for advice on week 6 run1 . You know I haven’t dared look 👀 yet. It will have to be a later in the day event so hope it will be warmer 😎 👍

You’re an inspiration to me as I’m at the beginning of wk5. Hoping I can get through the 20 minutes!

I was a bit worried about the 20 minute run as it seemed such a jump from 8 minutes but you know what, it was just fine! I kept the pace slow and settled into it by relaxing my body and doing some deep breatheing. Funnily enough it seemed tougher at the midway point and then it just flowed! I wasn’t puffed at the end and checked heart rate which was not a lot different from walking. You can do it 🏃‍♀️. You’ll get such a buzz 🐝
