I have been going to oneyou for i think it is my 6-7th week now at Gainsborough leisure centre with Laura omeara from oneyou and Jack from the leisure centre. Lauren is a great help she is kind caring and willing to listen and help you when ever she can if she can't help there and then you can ban declare that next time you see her she will have an answer for you she is a great laugh ive been to one or two things to help with weight loss and Lauren is one of the best. And as for Jack hes amazing he pushes you as he seams to know who can be pushed just that bit extra he also is kind and caring and up for a laugh if it wasn't for people like Lauren and jack people who have health problems and don't get a lot of money to go to these expensive places to lose weight well we wouldn't get anywhere so I would like to say a great big thankyou to Lauren and Jack for there help and for just that extra push to burn more calories they are amazing people and a credit to oneyou and Gainsborough leisure centre.

Download the app, read the guide to running and do c25k. That, along with a healthy diet will sort you out. Good luck!
Hi, are you doing the couch to 5k? I lost nearly 3 stone before I started running. That was through diet, I became a vegetarian, cut out alcohol and processed carbs.
Like you, I had previously been a yo yo dieter, but not any more. Running has changed all that (as well as my shape). I don't eat the same diet as I used to; I don't feel I want to any more. I do have treats, drink alcohol and have lapses on holiday, but running seems to keep my weight under control.
I haven't yet started running but i have got that app i have to work up gradually as i have fibromyalgia so I've got to watch what I'm doing but thankyou for the advice it's very much appreciated
Hello Sweetie70. I had put on weight after stopping smoking six and a half years ago. I started c25k 1st October 2018. I used the Samsung health app and typed in what I was eating and stuck to 1500 calories per day.
With running and being mindful of what I'm eating I've lost over three and a half stone.
I also got married in July this year and felt so much better .
First of all congratulations on getting married im trying my best to stick with this diet but finding it hard what to have for my meals at times ive been making up some of the recipes on of the meal app Lauren told us to get really enjoying making them its just the exercise at the minute im having trouble with its finding the time i know Lauren said i should find time for my self but when you have a 21 year old daughter who is a pain thats always wanting you for one thing or another and no matter what you tell her she doesn't listen and uses your 2 year old granddaughter as a weapon it really very hard and with having fibromyalgia spondylitis ibs irritable leg syndrome depression and anxiety vitamin d deficiency and ocd then finding out that now you've been put on a tablet for one problem that that tablet has caused you to have high blood pressure and to avoid stress its getting complicated
Hi thankyou for your kind words i am really trying my best to get to were i have time for my self. As my daughter is really being to get me really stressed out that im snapping at the on guy i really love. And its now got to the stage where i have steps to change involved to see if they can help i didn't want this but thats whats happen now
