Keep slow, very slow. Look at Japanese slow running.

Drink lots of water now and before your run, and if you are hydrated enough then you shouldn't need any whole out (one less thing to carry!)

Stretch properly when you get back, immediately when you are done. This needs to be part of your routine.

Always stick to rest days inbetween, they are very important for your muscles to recover.

Plan the days you are going to run and stick to them no matter what (unless you are in pain or sick, in which case rest, rest, rest! ) a don't eat less than2-3 hours before hand.

Pat yourself on the back for making a decision that may change your life!

Post when you have done runs and I also find it helpful to look at posts before I go out, it makes me believe I can do it!!

Good luck, you will smash it out of the park!

Don't drink too much directly before hand! Or you will slosh!

Hello StefanyPap , just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days about 2-3 litres it really helps.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

Hey, welcome to the gang.

Slow and easy wins the day. Its perfectly normal to go too fast in your first few run. Learn to take it slow.

And dont be put off by that first run, it really is the hardest.
