So 1 more run and ive graduated! Sounds silly but I'm a little apprehensive of life after the programme, I quite like jo Whiley giving encouragement as I plod along, did anyone else feel a little nervous after graduation? I'm starting to worry that I wont keep it up after graduation!

It’s a natural apprehension! However the best is yet to come. There are lots of options after graduation which will be given to you by our fantastic admin when you post your graduation run here.

Enjoy your last C25k run with Jo! Fantastic achievement! Well done🥳

Thank you! It's silly but I've come so far that I dont wanna be back at week 1 in a few months time, relieved to hear that graduation isnt just the end of the road!

You will be fine, you can still use the app for your consolidation runs while you think about where you want your running journey to take you.

Just bask in the limelight as you complete the program and graduate, you deserve it.

Thank you, it's been a massive journey for me as I've mostly done it for mental health reasons, I've gone from feeling like an imposter in the park to smiling and saying hi to regulars and I even have my very own cheerleaders who tell me on every lap how great I'm doing, it's been an eye opener how much human kindness is out there, a lovely, but unexpected bonus to the programme!

That's one of the good things about running, yes the physical and mental benefits are amazing but runners are runners, whether you are fast or slow, fat or thin, a runner is a runner.

I get people speaking to me when I'm out running, not just other runners either, cyclists too give me a good morning, etc. Human kindness is still there, always has been but sometimes it takes something like running to bring it to the surface.

Again, you have done brilliantly and will continue to do so, do your consolidation runs and think about where you want to go next, running for longer, 60 minutes, 10k or running faster.

The choice is yours.

I loved listening to Jo too!! even now when I hear her on radio 2 it reminds me of C25K!

well don't for getting this far with graduation just around the corner! fantastic.

Plenty of options for after graduation. Just enjoy running for a while and consolidate.

You could always keep doing the last run with Jo a few times :-)

have fun!!

It's funny isnt it that something so simple as 'well done you've got 10 mins to go' can give you such a boost, I must admit though that ive never taken up her suggestion to pick up the pace for the last minute 😂

You will find yourself doing that before long I'm sure.

If possible can you pick 3 days a week and they are your run days no matter what . You can keep Jo in your ear for another few runs if you like.

After graduation is great , my favourite is finding new routes to run.

Good luck and we'll see you back here when you graduate. 🤗🤗

I felt a bit daunted about running without Michael Johnson cheering me on but it was fine and actually quite nice to just be running because I wanted to! If you want to, you can always keep using the app but I think you'll find it quite liberating just going solo. ☺
