I have graduated!

I can’t quite believe it! I have always hated running! Tried many times mainly on a treadmill and never ever got past 10 minutes! I heard one of the presenters in our local (York) radio station saying she had done it and, by her own admission, she was not a fitness person! So followed the programme and here I am. I feel fantastic. It has given me so much confidence. Thank you Couchto5k!!

Thank you! It really is! Looking forward to joining our park run now but I am VERY slow!

Slow is good. 🐢🐌 We slower runners get fewer injuries and just as much health benefit and fitness in the end. Well done on your achievement. 👍👏🏼

Your speed is unimportant- parkrun is amazing. You’ll love it. Well done.

Well done! Can't wait to get there. Felt the same about running before, so very pleased to be able to say the same.

Thank you to you all for your wonderful motivating replies! I really appreciate them! I have been on this forum throughout my training and been so inspired that there was only one run that I “failed” but came back here and the support kept me going!!

Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

This guide to post C25k running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I reckon getting off the old dreadmill turns running into a totally different animal.

Keep running, keep smiling.
