Week 5 Run 3 πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Cannot believe I did it πŸ™‚ . I’d told my self if I can do this run I can do anything πŸ™‚ bring on 5K!

I’m really slow but they say slow and steady wins the race πŸ˜‚

Thank you everyone on this forum you’re an immense support to so many of us πŸ™‚.

When I started C25K outside I couldn’t do 60 seconds and I really really struggled with my asthma. A change in asthma meds and support from group has changed everything.

Thank you so much I could cry!

I don't want anyone crying on C25K especially after completing run 3 of week 5, congratulations, that run is a milestone run, you ran it very well indeed, OK to have a tear in your eye, quite emotional.

Onwards and upwards to runs 1 and 2 of week 6 which sometimes catch out runners with their interval walks and runs after the non-stop 20-minute run which you have just ran, once again congratulations.

Wow, well done.

I’ve got 4 more runs before w5r3 and it’s all I can think about. You think you are slow πŸ˜‚.

Well done again!!

Thank you . I promise you that you can

Do it. It’s more about mentally being able to run that long than physical I found. Yes it tiring but the more tired you get you slow down. Running slowly is what builds strength and stamina πŸ™‚

Yay. Well done. That was my favourite run, I was so proud of myself afterwards as I am sure you must be too.

Just done Week 4 run 1 and I've found a way to stretch time ...I can make 5 minutes feel like 10...easily. Just start running....when Sarah Millican says well done you have 3 more minutes left when you have run 2...I thought I had paused the timer by mistake...Its tough...done 2 *5 minutes and 2 *3 minute runs with short walks in between to get breath back . Now feeling as though week 9 might be acheivable though.

Ha I love having Sarah millican along for my run but I swear the other day w6r3 I think I would have happily slapped her ( I’m not usually violent) when she said I’d (only) ran for 12.5 mins 🀯😑πŸ₯΅πŸ€¬ we’re friends again now though!!

I promise you will get there . If you get tired slow right down for a bit πŸ™‚ you don’t have to always run at the same pace
