First run of week 2 done and I’m surprised how easy it was, I slowed right down on the last run but didn’t stop and finished feeling great. Tip to anyone just starting, invest in some running shoes. I scored some pretty swish purpose built running shoes for half price last week and wore them today in place of my generic trainers. Huge improvement, I imagine I looked like a gazelle on my run this morning 😂😂😂

🤣 Keep on with that thinking & you will get all the way to graduation!

👍Well done on the run and the new footwear😁

Proper running shoes are so important especially when you can get them reduced and they change you into a gazelle. Great effort

Agreed on the shoes. My feet are pretty wide so running in regular trainers gets painful overtime. Good running shoes are a must.

Congratulations on your run! 😀

Good, well fitting, (ie properly fitted, not too tight) shoes are a priority 👍🏻👌🏻

Well done, you're doing great 😁

I'm trying to imagine a running showman now. Hugh Jackman in full ringmaster regalia dancing round my local nature reserve 🤪

Glad you enjoyed run 1 of week 2 today in your new running shoes, yes they can make you run faster like a gazelle because they are more comfortable, that is very good that you bought them for half price, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 2 in your new running shoes 😊 🏃🏾

Well done. Sounds like you've got this.

Nothing wrong with slowing down. Its all about keeping going, not about pace (it's taken weeks for that to sink in properly with me)

snails rule 🐌

you re right - slow and steady, speed can come later, firstly find your running legs 👍🏃‍♂️
