Oh dear I was not up for that session. I felt rough, I was tired, it was cold and the darkest morning yet.....

But I still went out and did it.

Can't lie, it was a struggle and the last run was damned hard, I was dragging myself along by the time it ended, but it did end and I'd made it

Pleased with that one ,it was a tough day

It’s the tough runs that teach us about ourselves and how much we want to do this!! Well done 👍 you are building both physical & mental stamina. Be proud of yourself!!

Well done on getting out there, the first few weeks are so hard to motivate yourself to do, but you will get used to it and if the posts on here are anything to go by you will get slightly addicted! (I know I am getting there now on week 8!)

If you are finding it too hard slow down rather than stopping. Check out Japanese slow running, it really helped me.

You will get fitter and stronger and will find your right pace to keep going, it just takes a bit of time to get there.

Remember that proud feeling of having finished, especially if it was tough, as it will keep you going.

You never regret a run. Ever.

Half the battle is just going out there and recognising that sometimes not every run is a good one. And that's okay! It's just all part of it :)
