It’s been a great month . I’ve stopped smoking and found this place . I finished W1 R3 today and I loved it . The advice on here to take it slow , learn to breath , and avoid heel slap has been great . I’ll take it slow and enjoy the ride . My wife is onboard too and we can run our own pace and meet at the end . Cool runnings peeps !

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

Check out the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... for basic advice, but please observe your rest days

Enjoy your journey.

Thanks Iannoda , I definitely will observe the rest days . I’ll go for gentle bike rides in between . I need learn about stretching , I’ve only just read about that on here !

Good job SW. I stopped smoking and started running nearly 2 years ago. I promise you won 't regret it. Life with running is grand. How great you and your wife are in it together

Many happy runs to you both. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

👋 Well done to both you and your wife for doing c25k. Be careful it’s addictive!! I have a new mantra “ be the tortoise 🐢 not the hare “ it works for me.
