My name is not Victor Meldrew but I think I am older than him.
Probably the only thing we have in common is the use of “I don’t believe it.”
Well you know what it can be like in the UK
with interruption to your obvious running progress.🤔
The sun goes down around 1800, 2 British couples with dogs on leads at least, having a shop meeting in a narrow rear link block paved path. The men could see me approaching, the gap in the circle closed as I approached . I had to stop as the analysis shows to get passed and restart running.
Tbh not surprised in the UK, but was surprised to find this sort of arrogance and lack of kindness out here in Dubai.
Hey Ho,
Onwards and upwards.

Urgh, how annoying. My Monday night run was plagued by dog walkers blocking the paths with their dog and leads stretched across the pathway. I also had people meandering across the pavement with their backs to me completely oblivious to my approach due to the loud banging noises being transmitted into their heads via noise-cancelling headphones. Most of them let out a shocked yelp as I dodged past them. Good job I wasn't a mugger!
Sorry about your little mishap on your otherwise very good 30 minute trot, is that now one of the 30 minute reruns of week 9 of C25K?.
Most people are kind to runners but you will get the odd person who is not.
I didn't get my mid week run today, as I had to go into Glasgow to start my Christmas shopping, I hope to get a run tomorrow.
This afternoon I went a walk up the first 5 kilometers of the West Highland Way starting at Milngavie, I can't ever see me walking the whole 95 miles in a week and then the next day climbing Ben Nevis, nevertheless I had a good walk this afternoon. 😊
