It's been a while since I've posted an update. Heading into week 8 of Couch to 5K with my 19 year old daughter this week - our club run is tonight (we run with the club on Tuesday nights, and then try to do homework twice more during the week).
The target for the past week has been two runs of 15 minutes, with a 2 minute walk inbetween - which has been a bit of a struggle for Miss 19 after carrying an injury for the last few weeks and missing quite a bit of training.
Tip for anybody that might read this - don't tuck your foot under you while sitting watching TV or using the computer - a physio got to the bottom of it, straightened her hips up, and she's been happily running once again.
We ran two lots of 15 minutes on Sunday night - I think she surprised herself. Tonight is two lots of 18 minutes - wish us luck!
