Good morning everyone

I was wondering if anyone else promises themselves a little present to themselves after each week? So far I have new shorts, trainers, socks,t-shirts and have just ordered a gps watch! Running top on Friday hopefully😂

W7R1 today.

They are selling them at the moment as ' Marathon ' for a few months

If you do dark, you can eat less I am told, yet to have proof as I finish it anyway!

I promised myself some new shoes if I completed to W4.

I’ve got them! Only from Decathlon though. I’m just about to start W6, and need to think of something to treat myself with if I complete the plan 😊

Nice 1. I have promised myself the Nike trainers that the runner did under 2hour marathon when I complete, but then I saw they cost £240 ! 😳 I need to rethink.

I looked at them, and my eyes popped out of my head 👀

I treated myself when I graduated, I don't tend to promise myself if I finish the week, etc, I do pick things up that I really (or think) I need.

First time I graduated I bought myself a Garmin watch, this time round it was a pair of ASICS Gel-Cumulus 21 shoes.

I also bought myself a pair of Aftershokz from the airport last week.

Wow at aftershocz , never heard of them before, they look awesome. Trainers are nice too.

The Aftershokz are brilliant, listen to music and hear everything around you, I even hold a conversation with Mrs LeeU as we jog along.

The Asics are brilliant, I forgot them last week when I was in Orlando and went out in a pair of Skechers, they were comfy enough but nothing like the Asics.

The one thing I did want was a garmin watch . So a few months after graduation I got one . 😊😊

Worth paying extra for a Garmin?

Buddy34 profile image

I have the garmin forerunner 35. Paid £129.99 but I'm sure you can get it a bit cheaper now if you shop around.

If you're interested in heart rate, cadence , pace distance , heart rate zones and much more .

I have a star chart, not nearly as exciting but possibly a little cheaper. Did treat myself to garmin on graduation. Then gloves when we reached freezing, last fridays snow just left garden😉

Snow !

Have a look at the photo in my post last friday on the 10k forum. Mountains look beautiful, loads of snow. Temp maxing out about 4. Loads of layers needed.

Not every week, that may get a tad expensive! But I treated myself to some earphones half way through and then some new kit when I completed w8. Now I’ve graduated I’m hoping santa is going to bring me a watch 🤞🏼

I have promised myself some new running shoes as I have had my existing shoes for years (but had never actually run in them). When I hopefully graduate these will be top of my list!

Hi Linda

I have my eye on the trainers the man did under 2hours for the Marathon in, but I’m bulking at the £240 price tag! Maybe it will be a big beer and a curry instead.😂
