Wk5R3 complete!

Woohoo! I really didn't think I would be able to do this 20 min run in one go (albeit I should say 20min pace of a tortoise run) but I did it! To think, I so desperately wanted to give up in Wk2. To anyone thinking about doing the programme or doubting themselves, please give it a go!

Thank you! It's taken me a while(...) how to reply to a post - I had to find my post first!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, although some runners don't mind a short walking break. 😊 🏃🏾

Thank you AlMorr. I certainly appreciated the walking break as I started the first run of wk6!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
