I’m getting lazy again

Please kick my backside for me. I started C25K and got to week 8 and completed it a few weeks ago. I’ve only got to graduate now but I can’t seem to get my lazy bum out the door. I don’t like cold wet weather.

However I’ve brought me some new running gear to encourage me, lol. Not put it on yet 😢

Hi Tazzy,

Just get out there you know it makes you feel better, slow and easy listen to your fav music. You can do it, never give up never surrender.

Get your new gear on and go for it. You will only feel the cold for a couple of minutes.

Get yer kecks on and get out there! It would be such a shame to have done 8 weeks and not complete it - your within touching distance. Wear a hat and some gloves and once you get going you’ll soon be warm enough to take them off again. Good luck 👍😁

Put that gear on. Out that door! 👍 I put mine on when I get up, otherwise the run wouldn’t happen. So we are watching you.... 😳 Get that badge!

It will feel so much better once you do it and think of all that lovely tingly feelings of heat mixed with the endorphin high - telling myself this too as have 5k run to do and its snowing

You Scots are a hardy lot, lol. Bet it’s beautiful where you run 🏃‍♀️

If I choose carefully I’m really lucky but sometimes to get easy flat it’s streets and retail parks the same as everyone. Local uni campus is new and beautiful but as I’m heading to 10k I have to detour to housing estates . Running is running wherever. Hope you find some lovely routes

I used to run along the local canal. It was quite nice seeing the ducks and heron. But there’s too many undesirable people along there and decided to run along the streets. I’m doing ok and that’s all that matters x

Shame about undesirable. I too have a lovely canal but it's a 15 minute drive, maybe treat myself to a run there next week. Happy running

Set off and intend to do only 5 minutes. You can come back. But I bet you'll carry on. It's hard when it's cold and wet. Here's a kick for you 👟👟👟

Get your new running gear on and get out that door. You know how great it feels to run and that feeling of accomplishment on completing a run. We will be looking for your post today . Good luck 😊😊😊😊

That feeling when I graduated was amazing. I couldn't stop smiling. You'll feel the same. Just one more week and you've graduated. Get some layers to keep warm, once you're running you'll soon warm up. It becomes addictive and now I'm on the injury couch I'm really sad at not being able to run. You'll start to feel the same way.

Just Do It 😊

My bum is well and truly kicked. It’s bright and sunny out, so my running shoes will be on. Thank you all for your encouragement xx

Go on a weekend when hopefully it isn't raining, do it on a treadmill (boring I know) or warm up well in doors (the 5 min bit) lots and go out in full rain - can be fun if not too cold! music helps too - music plus c25k is a good combo
