I’m still on w2 r4! I am having to do this run over again tomorrow 😥 finding it a lot harder then most people who post on here ... everyone seems to move on pretty quickly but I’ve done w1 twice and and still doing w2.. has anyone else done the weeks twice ... living doing this but wondering why I’m finding it harder than most x 😖😖
I’m not getting very far ! : I’m still on w2 r... - Couch to 5K
I’m not getting very far !
Lots of people find it hard and repeat. Slow down. Everyone has a lower gear. Don’t worry about other folks’ progress- your goals are yours alone and you will improve each time even if you can’t feel it straight away. Slower next time and see if it feels better - you can do this!!
Nobody ever said it was going to be easy 😉 seriously though, try to slow it down a bit. It should feel difficult but achievable. 👍
Trust me I found it (and still finding it) hard, i don't ever have an "easy" run, ive had to really shake off the temptation to stop a few times during a run, but once you've done it the feeling of achievement outweighs the struggle of the run, I really think you should move on to the next one and not keep repeating, maybe the odd time repeat if you really feel you have to, but you dont know what you are capable of until you try. Just go really slow. Good luck. You really can do this.
Can you speak clear ungasping sentences as you run?
If not, you are going too fast.
It is all explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Some people have many repeats, but if you slow down it should be much easier.
If it was easy we’d have never not done it! It’s a tough plan... it constantly pushes you to do more. You’re doing it though.... and with just one repeat of week one, you’re far from the record holder. You’ll run those 30 minutes... keep the pace down and keep coming to those start lines.
It is hard. Think lots of people find it difficult but the programme works. It really does. I repeated many weeks before moving on. Some are good days and some disappointing but you will get there 😀
Just remember that everyone is different and what works for one person wont work for another! I've had to repeat runs but would rather do that and ensure that I stick at it instead of giving up! Just remember why you are doing this!
look how many runs you have under your belt !!
it is not a race.
have you done japanese running?
it got me through the plan.
you are doing well-dont give up now x
I restarted C25K in February and have been super cautious due to a niggling ongoing injury and have repeated lots of runs. So now, after 3 months I am on week 5! 😁 I don’t care though, I know I’ll get there in the end, and so will you 👍 Keep going, we all have to do it at our own pace, and some of us may have to repeat runs for our own reasons, when others don’t. We will make it though!🏃♀️
Ah Galladaydream! 🤗 So many of us find it hard and that’s normal. We are doing something we haven’t done before. So please don’t be hard on yourself. This is for YOU and the best thing you can do, is do it your way! There is only one You! Every time you go out, no matter the outcome, you’re a better version of the fabulous you! If you complete, it doesn’t have to have been easy, but be easy on yourself and move on. It’s not about completing and thinking that was easy. If you didn’t quite make it to the end, please just slow down. Slooooow!! 🐌 Is what you’re aiming for. “How slow can I go?” 🐌 🐌 🐌 is a mantra that helped me a lot. And of course, “Out there, don’t care!”. Meaning, it doesn’t matter what I do in the end, I went and did the best I could on the day. The only effort required was to hold back, get comfortable and not burn out. It works! 😉
You’re on week 2 and if you’ve done W1 twice, thats amazing. That’s 6 runs, before you even went to W2! Remember we’ve all started at the beginning. And.....YOU can do it!! Just do it your way! That’s enough!💪🏽 Keep posting and keep going, doing the best version of you, right now in the moment. The rest will come at the right time! ❤️
We all run differently, slow down tKe your time ... your in it to win it ... you can do this 🤗
You are getting far! Your overtaking everyone who isn’t doing it. 9 weeks isn’t the ultimate goal . Getting out and feeling good is 👍
