Hi all, I technically finished the programme in August (having done several 30min runs and also some slower 5k ones, plus achieved my personal goal of making it round the bumpy but shorter reservoir path). I then did my consolidation but it's been rather strung out!
Can I please have my magic badge to prove that however slow I may be, I am actually running?
I went out today on a lit path in hi vis and did a 40min 5km, solidly running about 4.5km of it. It was bloody freezing but I'm proud of that fact that I still went and that, while I may not be running three times a week, it's actually now something I can do when I feel like it (and be overtaken by loads of people but whatever).
At some point I'm going to go and try to walk up the cliff path stairs that inspired this whole effort in the first place. That will be my real graduation!
