Week 5 run 3...the one I’d been dreading!

So I’m on week 5 of my couch 2 5k journey, I started at a really tough time in my personal life and apart from getting me out the house it’s giving me much needed head space...but today was the tough one...

I’d been looking ahead and didn’t know how I’d make the 20 minute run but I did! I’d read so many great posts on here about how it was possible and I just started slow and kept putting one foot in front of the other...

The second half actually felt much easier than the first 10 minutes...I guess cos I was getting into the swing of it.

It feels like an achievement and I’m really looking forward to week 6.

Well done on the milestone........ absolutely nothing to dread was there?

Take it nice and steady on the next run.........it catches many out.

The first ten minutes is known as the toxic ten healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Congratulations Corarun on completing run 3 of week 5, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thanks - will bear that in mind and not try and go too fast!
