W2R2 nailed it!

Tonight's run was amazing! I slowed down alot, put the incline up on the treadmill (which I hadn't done previously) I brought running shoes the day before yesterday after a gait analysis the difference was huge compared to my other shoes (definitely can't quit now 😂) and focused on how I was breathing the whole time (cheers to the guy who put a YouTube video on breathing in the comments on the guide post) I only saw this forum end of week one and wish I had read it earlier.

Every other time I have struggled quite a bit, but this run was super easy I was amazed when I finished how easy it had been and how I didn't have aching muscles at all. Came home smiling telling my partner how much I nailed it.

Now to focus on upping my water intake to 2L a day which is shockingly non existent at the moment 😬

Thanks for all the amazing tips on here!

Well done! Have to ask... why the incline on the treadmill? It really isn't necessary , despite what you may have read. But anyway.... carry on!

I did read that it made the transition from treadmill to road running easier, which will be helpful in the long run I guess.

Honestly, it's just not necessary - the road will feel very different, despite the incline. You'll get used to it very quickly though :-)

Well done, it's great when everything falls into place.

You can download apps on your phone that help with the water intake.

Take care 😀👍

I’m doing this run tomorrow and to be honest I’m already dreading it! Where can I find the YouTube video? Sorry I’m new here x

YouTube Matt cama and how to breathe while running. I was amazed by how much of a difference implementing all the techniques from the guide post on this forum. Definitely give it a good read.
