Sorry, this is slightly off topic, but instead of doing my w9r2 this evening, I did my 30 minutes on a bicycle using the husbands turbo trainer. I have to say... it was hard work! Give me running any day ๐Ÿ˜‚ A great cardio workout none the less and itโ€™ll keep me going until my ankle is strong enough to run on (hopefully) next week ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

Good idea to do this whilst you wait for your ankle to get better. Itโ€™s also a good non run activity if I remember what it says in the How To post. Very impressive stats ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks Buddy. I just want to keep my cardio up whilst Iโ€™m on the IC so when Iโ€™m ready to start running again itโ€™s not such a shock ๐Ÿคฃ

The ankle is still not great so Iโ€™m glad I didnโ€™t run last night (I was very tempted I must admit) Iโ€™m still doing my ankle strengthening exercises and will continue to cycle/ swim on my non-rest days to keep up the fitness. Iโ€™m also going to have my gait re-analysed tomorrow to see if I canโ€™t get more supportive trainers. Thanks for asking ๐Ÿ˜Š

Cycling kept me sane while I was waiting for my foot to heal. I'm hoping to keep it up to complement the running as a cross training activity. Good luck with your ankle, speedy recovery.

Itโ€™s a great workout and Iโ€™m glad it worked for you too. A good idea to keep it up alongside the running, especially if youโ€™ve had previous injuries ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks very much!
