Sorry, this is slightly off topic, but instead of doing my w9r2 this evening, I did my 30 minutes on a bicycle using the husbands turbo trainer. I have to say... it was hard work! Give me running any day πŸ˜‚ A great cardio workout none the less and it’ll keep me going until my ankle is strong enough to run on (hopefully) next week 🀞🏼

Good idea to do this whilst you wait for your ankle to get better. It’s also a good non run activity if I remember what it says in the How To post. Very impressive stats 😁

Thanks Buddy. I just want to keep my cardio up whilst I’m on the IC so when I’m ready to start running again it’s not such a shock 🀣

The ankle is still not great so I’m glad I didn’t run last night (I was very tempted I must admit) I’m still doing my ankle strengthening exercises and will continue to cycle/ swim on my non-rest days to keep up the fitness. I’m also going to have my gait re-analysed tomorrow to see if I can’t get more supportive trainers. Thanks for asking 😊

Cycling kept me sane while I was waiting for my foot to heal. I'm hoping to keep it up to complement the running as a cross training activity. Good luck with your ankle, speedy recovery.

Thanks so much! Oh I know! There’s no let up on the exercise bike 😫 It’s harder in some ways, but an excellent cardio workout too πŸ‘πŸΌ
