Sorry, this is slightly off topic, but instead of doing my w9r2 this evening, I did my 30 minutes on a bicycle using the husbands turbo trainer. I have to say... it was hard work! Give me running any day π A great cardio workout none the less and itβll keep me going until my ankle is strong enough to run on (hopefully) next week π€πΌ
Good idea to do this whilst you wait for your ankle to get better. Itβs also a good non run activity if I remember what it says in the How To post. Very impressive stats π
The ankle is still not great so Iβm glad I didnβt run last night (I was very tempted I must admit) Iβm still doing my ankle strengthening exercises and will continue to cycle/ swim on my non-rest days to keep up the fitness. Iβm also going to have my gait re-analysed tomorrow to see if I canβt get more supportive trainers. Thanks for asking π
Cycling kept me sane while I was waiting for my foot to heal. I'm hoping to keep it up to complement the running as a cross training activity. Good luck with your ankle, speedy recovery.
