Well, not as far as running is concerned. But the weather forecast for this afternoon is heavy rain, and it was the lesser of two evils. So after two hours of homework where I managed to write only one small paragraph, I put my kit on and set off.
I think sheer stubbornness kept me going - it's the first run in a long time that i've wanted to stop and walk; my lets felt like lead today, the sun came out briefly and I got so hot I wished I'd had water with me. Mastered the art of taking off my running jacket whilst still running and listened gratefully to Laura counting down the minutes.
As soon as I got back I downed two glasses of water, so am wondering if I wasn't properly hydrated before I went out? Or maybe it was just one of those days.
So, graduation beckons Friday. Not sure I'm looking forward to it.

Some days the planets align and the run goes swimmingly. Other days nothing seems to go to plan. We have to take the rough with the smooth. We can always salvage something from a run and thank goodness we are off the couch 😀
I hate having to take my jacket off mid run. Does my head in 😀
What time are you running on Friday? (just getting the champers chilled)... If it's Friday and it's five to five, you might get a Crackerjack pencil along with your shiny badge!
