Running

Well, I had intended to do c25k. But then I ended up in hospital with myocarditis. That set me back a little and my rowing has had to be stopped altogether.

However, Since the hospital and recovery I have run the local parkrun twice. First time 27:32 and second time 27:18. A long way off my best but in some ways it feels like a much more important run.

I haven’t technically graduated as I haven’t done the programme but I will move to bridge to 10k.

Hello, it really is great that you have now recovered . Would you consider doing c25k first before moving over to bridge210k. The reasons being if you complete the program you will have built up your strength and stamina gradually before moving on to longer distances.😊

To be honest, I don’t think it’s necessary. I can already run over 5k and have run 4 miles on Sunday just there in under 40 minutes.
