Thank you all for butt kicking on Sunday :) I did rope Jen in for a run today before we left work. No music, no Laura, just Jen. It's a bit strange, not sure about running without music, wondering what that would be like, no music, no Laura and no Jen... might give it a go - anyone else choosing to run without anything playing in the ear?

it was a nice evening not too cold or warm, sunny and the airfield windsock was all droopy so we knew not too much wind to be dealing with. I was quite content puffing along, even managed conversation in the first 10 mins but had to give up speaking lol it's a multi tasking effort I can not sustain lol

Did end up having a little trouble with wind but the burping kind... quite uncomfortable, developed a bit of a stitch, couldn't quite breath it away, not happened before and had to pull up and walk for a bit to sort myself out.

I had run for 27 minutes before having to walk for 5/6 mins to gather myself a bit then went on to run for 6 mins more. Pleased with that, covered 4.2k.

my next run is Thu :)

Hi Bxster, I did part of a run once with nothing to listen to when my batteries gave up. didn't like it. having to listen to myself huffing and puffing. Its definitely not chart material! :)

I got rid of the audio ages ago and love it.

Wouldn't have it any other way now. Just me and the world and my thoughts, feels free!

Did it a couple of times for part of my run during the 9 weeks when I had technical issues and then first proper time the other week when I ran with someone else. Have to say it was strange but will give it a go again soon.

I've run a couple of times without music because I forgot to pick up my mp3 player. Like Newpie, I didn't really like hearing my huffing and puffing but it was quite nice to hear the birds in the wood. Since I am working my way through my music collection I think I will stick with the music.
