Well, I’m so glad to be writing this, I’ve just finished my last run for week 1. All good so far, I already feel so much better in myself and I am really enjoying this so much. My 2nd run on Saturday just gone was done at 7.30am (I know right, on a Saturday!!!) in the pouring rain and it was great, no hair/makeup to worry about just me and didn’t see anyone at all. My favourite song at the moment that I love when running is Chuck Berry, You never can tell, it’s quite quirky but maybe not to everyone’s taste but it works for me. Next run on Wednesday, start for week 2
Enjoy your runs 🙂

Well done on completing the first week, and for showing such dedication going out in the mucky rain on Saturday. Enjoy your rest days and then onwards and upwards!
Yes, well done, I think that completing the first week is an important milestone and to have gone out on Saturday in the rain is another great achievement (and a great sign of dedication). Enjoy your rest days ant then off you go into Week 2!
Going running in the rain on a wet dreary morning is such a hard thing to get motivated to do. The fact you did is amazing. Always remember how you felt that day and how good it was, and use that memory when you run over the winter. It’ll help get you out the door.
Well done lovely for sticking to your word and getting the three runs done. You must be feeling proper chuffed with yourself. Guess what, i'm starting today. I've bought my kit to work with me so no excuses now. My only dilemma is do I run around the business park where at work at 5.30pm or do I do it on the treadmill when I get home? The treadmill is in the garage so I wouldn't enter the house (that's a no no for me as it will be nice and warm and tea will be cooking and then that's it for me, game over)! x
If it was me I would definitely run outside in the fresh air, I hate treadmills anyway. I bought one a few years ago but hated it so much I sold it within 6 months
I suppose whichever way you do it is good though
Well done for taking your kit to work and good luck
I’m starting 1st run week 2 today and last night I didn’t sleep well at all so I’m so tired, that’s when it’s hard to get motivated. I will do it though
