Running daily

Hi all

I have been been running 5k for a while now (about 6 months) and run 2-3 times a weeks with rest days in between. I sometimes feel I could run on consecutive days and wondered when the right time to do this would be. Am I tempting trouble and how long would be a good period of time be bearing in mind my relatively new running legs. Thank you! ☺️

I used to run 6 days a week when I was fit. I took a year or two to get to that point though. The rule of thumb used to be increase no more than 10% a week.

I asked a similar question a while back. I completed c25k on February 15th 2019. I run on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I now go to parkrun every second Saturday as well . I just make sure on the Friday before parkrun my run is short and easier. I've had no problems and it works for me. Hope this helps 😊😊
