So chuffed. Just managed W5R2. As I was running I was thinking back to 5 weeks ago and how hard I found weeks 1&2. I’m not saying this wasn’t a challenge but I did it. I’m 48 and had a hip replacement 6 months ago and never thought I’d get this far. To all those starting out this is a plan that gives you so much. To coin a phrase “it works.”
From others who have done the plan I understand that W5R3 is a milestone and I’ve got that next.
Looking forward to the challenge

You are doing great, people do see week 5 run 3 as a milestone due to the length of the run but the program has been preparing your body for the run ahead, trust it and believe in yourself.
When you go out to do it, just take it slow and steady, concentrate on your breathing and you will be fine.
