Nervous- about to start week 3

Starting week 3 tomorrow and to be honest I’m feeling really nervous. It seems a bit dramatic to be nervous of running for 3 minutes but I’m 45 and haven’t run since school. I’m gonna try my best though👍

Lots of people feel nervous at all sorts of stages, so you’re in good company! - Having said that, it’s good to try & relax & enjoy your running adventure. 😄

This amazing program really does work & in another couple of weeks you will know that better for yourself. Also, it might help to remember that it’s no big deal if the first try turns out to be a “practice” & you need to repeat a run.

Go slowly & gently & you will amaze yourself! 😄

You'll be fine.

You've done wk1 and wk2, just keep doing the same thing, take it slow.

No speeding up to try to get it out of the way faster lol.

And think about that well earned beer!

What everyone says is true - it will be fine. Just take it slow. I'm 60 and have never ever run, but the plan does work. I've adapted it a bit to suit myself being very unfit and creaky and repeat the whole week at least once till I feel confident about moving on. Also do the dynamic stretching and warm down stretching. I really worried about week three, it seemed such a big leap but I really enjoyed it. Good luck, keep going and have fun!
