Week 8 run 2

Well it was a misty chilly morning as I set off for my warm up walk and then run, I feel I am getting stronger but not any quicker I think I am Mrs consistent slow speed! I’m going to run a slightly different route on Friday following some advice given on a previous post for week 8 to have a bit of variety. All in all it’s gone well and I cannot believe the difference this programme has made in my life these past 8 weeks. What a great feeling👟👍🏃🏼‍♀️

I totally understand where you are at I can only say follow everything you are asked to do because it works and just go slower if you get a tough moment

What a New year achievement not a resolution for you to look forward too. You can do it 👍🏃🏻‍♀️👏

So glad that you are enjoying your running Over62, not long now until you graduate, variety is the spice of life, same with different running routes as well.

Ha, speed, ignore it, there's no need for it, just plod on at a steady pace and you'll be fine. 4 more runs and you'll graduate, you'll be running for as long as any other person who has graduated, only around 10% actually hit 5k at the end of week 9 but they still only run for 30 minutes.

Not what you're looking for?
