Finished week 6! Apparently I am a Runner now πŸ˜€

Well, it's been a hectic few weeks- back at University after a long summer off (the joy of being a mature student!) and then obviously came down with the start of term bugs. However, have managed to fit my runs in and just finished the final run of week 6 today. 25 minutes! Wow! Was definitely a mind over matter one πŸ˜‚ Feeling so wonderful and it has bumped up my motivation even more. I still feel scared before starting the long runs as that little voice in my head keeps trying to convince me I will fail. I haven't listened to it yet though! A day of rest tomorrow (lucky seeing as I have a twelve hour day at Uni tomorrow 😭) and then onto week 7 on Tuesday! Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone 😁

Thank you- a smile did beam on my face when the trainer said I was a runner 😁 Made that 25 minutes all worth it!

I’ve just finished run 3 of week 6, felt like a big jump in terms of time running from previous weeks! Slow hog rather than run as I thought I wouldn’t make it otherwise! Week 7 looks tough but I’m going to fine it a go. Lost 12lb since I’ve started so great motivation to keep going!

12lbs? - that's wonderful news, well done! I've managed to drop a dress size and feel so much better. I agree about Week 7- seems a huge leap, but I've thought that about every week πŸ˜‚ Love that feeling you get when you finish knowing that you've pushed yourself and succeeded! Good luck with Week 7! πŸ’ͺπŸ₯³

You are only a runner now, not since the day you started?

Thank you! Yes, these long Uni days are definitely a shock after my break πŸ₯΅ I actually feel like my runs are my 'me time' now, a chance to unwind - such a new mindset! πŸ˜‚
