Should I repeat run

Week 7 completed. Found this week really difficult but managed to complete. Would it be worth repeating this week before going on to week 8 or just press on. Not had to repeat any weeks before.

You are doing great.

Just ease your pace back if you decide not to repeat or there is nothing wrong with an extra repair day.If you are doing 3 runs per week there is an extra repair day built in anyway.

Remember all our needs are different and you know your body best.

Atb with your building of your running body and enjoy.

My preference was not to repeat. Each week is a progression, and repeating can create a barrier in your mind. No run is wasted, even if you find it tough, reflect on the positives and see what lessons you can draw. Listen to your body, take extra rest days if required and remember slow and steady 😀

If you have managed to complete each run you should be able to move in to wk8. But it's up to you to repeat any runs or weeks that you want. Well done you 😊

Thanks everyone. I don’t want to repeat so will give week 8 a go. I always do 3 runs a week so do have an extra rest day , although I usually golf on my rest days.

👏 you are doing well. W7 has prepared you for 8. Start the run very slowly 🐌& up the pace towards the end if you have energy left in the tank!

W8&9 were my favourite 😊
