Woke up late and while it was tempting to just lie there and run after work, I am happy I dragged myself out the door and ran before work.

As is always the case, I am never a fan of the first 60 seconds of the first run. Maybe it just takes time for my body to get into things.

I'm currently in my kitchen with a cup of tea and that I'm-exhausted-but-energised post run feeling never gets old. Great way to start a Monday!

Happy running :)

Thank you!

I'm with you on early morning runs. It's the perfect way to start your day. There's something about the quiet of the morning which is just magical.

I am early morning run fan too. Many times I’ve wanted to just lie in bed but I’ve never regretted getting up and running. My body hates the first kilometre though!

I try to remember this, that I'll never regret a workout. It can be hard to get out of bed, but we'll worth it.

I already get up at 4.45... I couldn't imagine getting up any earlier, running has to come later. 👎🏼

I struggle getting my body to fall into line on the odd early ones I've managed, it's just too set in routine 🤣

4:45! Wow, that is very early! Is there any reason why?

And out of interest, what time do you sleep?

I'm in work by 6.20, breakfast, get ready etc, travel, I usually aim to be asleep by 9pm.

That's so inspiring, being up that early!

That's one way to look at it! 🤣🤣🤣 I used to say anything pre-5 was NightTime! It just becomes routine although I do love the pre-dawn skies 💕

I agree that I find it best to run first thing in the morning - the feeling when you finish is great and breakfast tastes so much better as you feel you have earned it!!!
