I have just ran my third run in week one,after a little into it my calf’s started hurting , I ran through it and it didn’t get any worse, I have rolled them with a tennis ball , only thing I can think of is I ran in a old pair of trainers!! Any help please

Maybe check your trainers if you think they could be the problem.

Try daily calf stretches.. Look for them online, standing calf stretches.

Hi runaidanrun , welcome to the forum and congratulations on started the plan, your life will change forever now!!! Hmmmm, sounds like you know what part of the problem was!! trainers can make all the difference!! Also, stretching before a run is important to get your muscles ready for what you're about to put them through!! When I'm brushing my teeth I rise up onto the balls of my feet and back down again...even on days when I'm not running...little things like this can help towards a pain free recovery. Good luck on your next run, let us know how it goes
