Very pleased to have graduated yesterday. I'm 61 & an ex-smoker with 2 heart stents. When I started this I was overweight & so out of breath even after 1 minute! It did take me about 12 weeks to build up slowly but now I can run 5K in under 35 minutes and have lost over 10lb ...proving C25K is possible for almost anyone.
I finished couch to 5K on September 9th, after starting on 11th July. I now run 4K nearly every day and I’m in training for a 10K. I have never run before, so I’m super proud and wouldn’t stop running now for anything!
Hi Instructor57, can I have my badge, please? After spending months following this program, I finally graduated! Thanks to Laura in the podcast and supportive community in HealthUnlocked, much love from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Whoooop whoooop finished the program never thought it possible me to run 30 mins now the next goal is to run the whole 5k 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👊 just wanna thank everyone on here for the support love and advise its fantastic what a wonderful forum 💞
Hi All, I am feeling very proud of myself today having completed my run 3 of week 9 this morning!! Despite initial reservations I’ve really enjoyed feeling fitter and am aiming to continue running 2 or 3 times a week. I tell myself it’s only 30 minutes and that’s my exercise done for the day ! I’ve found the hardest bit is actually getting up &putting the trainers on !! It’s all worth when I get back with a rosy face & a great feeling of achievement Many thanks 😊
Please can I have my badge. I completed C25K a few months ago and missed the badge bit. Am working on moving beyond 5km and it’s a slow business, mainly a psychological barrier I suspect! I am not really a social media ‘poster’ but I follow this forum a lot and find it very inspiring and also very kind. Thanks for all the support!
I completed my C25K program on 27/10/21. First time being able to run 30 minutes non-stop in my almost 50 years, although very slowly and only 3.1km. Going to keep running till I achieve 5km, then I can join park run.
Good morning AllFirst completed the final run of C25K last week & am repeating it every second or third day in the hope that it will eventually become enjoyable & easy 😂
Long time lurker first time poster, graduation run done today i don’t think I would have done it without the advice and inspirational stories from this forum so thanks to everyone here
Good afternoon, I completed my C25K on Tuesday, and I must say, I'm over the moon. It's taken me longer than 9 weeks due to having painful ankles and heels! But got there in the end! 😀
Finished this morning in force 7 and light rain, but it was 16° C :-)Difficult to believe how far I've come thanks to this program. I'll continue to jog regularly but not in weather like this!
