I am so amazingly proud of myself and my sometimes (on her bike) running buddy/daughter.
Weβve had the most fantastic time bonding over this programme and I hope Iβm building a legacy of keeping going and trying your best ππ»
I started this programme on 20th July for personal reasons (thatβs on another of my posts if youβre interested) and itβs benefited me more than I ever dreamed possible β€οΈ
Iβve achieved something as a single person and know now that I can do anything ππ»
It started raining 10 minutes into the run and I said to my daughter βit rained the whole 4 hours it took me to get back down Ben Nevisβ!!! I think that put things into perspective for her π
If youβre here and are new to this programme, please do keep going. Keep moving, how ever slow you need to go. βThe only way you can fail is by going back to the couch, and staying thereβ ππ»
Iβve found the Bridge to 10k forum. See you over there πππ½ββοΈ
Congratulations to you cpfiona on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, lovely photo of you and your daughter,
To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE π next to your username leave a message on the September graduation post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated π π π
Congratulations! It's an amazing feeling and very much deserved. Your daughter should be very proud of herself too πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Congratulations cpfiona and running buddy! What a fantastic achievement after a rotten year. But enjoy your consolidation runs and whatever comes afterwards - so many things to look forward to! Happy running.ππππ
Thank you Oldgirlruns ππ» Iβm looking forward to this next part of my running. Iβve seen that those consolidation runs are important, so theyβre next ππ»
Brilliant and congratulations to you, the 10k awaits you π
I know what Ben is like too π
Where you tempted to have a bacon and egg sarnie afterwards? π
β’ in reply to
10k would have sounded impossible before I found this plan π
Ah, bright sunshine at the bottom-2 hats, gloves, full waterproofs at the top π³ I definitely donβt need to see Ben again!
Nope π I actually canβt even stomach the thought of bacon now π
β’ in reply to
Nothing is going to stop you now π
I love Ben and I'd definitely love to go again..
So you have managed to put yourself off bacon? I never thought such a thing would be possible π€π

π
Given the choice, Iβd go as far as the Red Burn again π¦ On a nice, clear, sunny day! (It was a bit boring after the Burn π).
Bacon shmacon π€’

I'd go all the way to the top, each time I went before it was either snowing to much or it was to cloudy, I want to see the view from the top ποΈποΈ
Mmmm bacon π€€
β’ in reply to
I read that thereβs a 1 in 7 chance of a view...π Not doing that 6 more times to test it out π
Scafell Pike was still covered in snow and ice-I got stuck going up Mickledore chimney. Luckily, two mountain rescue guys were strolling by π
π₯ nope π
β’ in reply to
1 in 7 erm I'll probably try one more time and thats it π
Well that was I but jammy, did you do the lotto that day too π
β€οΈπ₯π³β€οΈ
β’ in reply to
What if there is no view..it could be a myth π€ π
I know! All I was worried about was having to be rescued by helicopter and it being all over Facebook π±π³
Dayum, no I didnβt π
β’ in reply to
I never thought if that ππ
I'd say it might have made the news too, imagine that π π
Congratulations! I am about to start week 3 and I find your post really inspirational. I will take your advice and keep going, once again congrats on getting to 30 minutes of running
