I’ve done it!!!!!!!!

W9R3 πŸŽ‰

I am so amazingly proud of myself and my sometimes (on her bike) running buddy/daughter.

We’ve had the most fantastic time bonding over this programme and I hope I’m building a legacy of keeping going and trying your best πŸ™πŸ»

I started this programme on 20th July for personal reasons (that’s on another of my posts if you’re interested) and it’s benefited me more than I ever dreamed possible ❀️

I’ve achieved something as a single person and know now that I can do anything πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

It started raining 10 minutes into the run and I said to my daughter β€˜it rained the whole 4 hours it took me to get back down Ben Nevis’!!! I think that put things into perspective for her πŸ˜‚

If you’re here and are new to this programme, please do keep going. Keep moving, how ever slow you need to go. β€˜The only way you can fail is by going back to the couch, and staying there’ πŸ™πŸ»

I’ve found the Bridge to 10k forum. See you over there πŸ˜ƒπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

This guide to post C25K running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Many make the mistake of thinking that by doing C25K, all they will learn is how to run.............as you have found it gives so much more.

in reply to IannodaTruffe

Fellow runner πŸ˜† Thanks Iannoda, so much more to learn...starting with reading your research on the 10% rule! πŸ™πŸ»

Yep, anybody who thinks they know all about running cos they did it at school, has to revise their ideas once you get to this level.

Congratulations cpfiona and running buddy! What a fantastic achievement after a rotten year. But enjoy your consolidation runs and whatever comes afterwards - so many things to look forward to! Happy running.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ†

in reply to Oldgirlruns

Thank you Oldgirlruns πŸ™πŸ» I’m looking forward to this next part of my running. I’ve seen that those consolidation runs are important, so they’re next πŸ‘πŸ»

Brilliant and congratulations to you, the 10k awaits you 😊

I know what Ben is like too πŸ˜…

Where you tempted to have a bacon and egg sarnie afterwards? 😏

in reply to

10k would have sounded impossible before I found this plan πŸ˜‚

Ah, bright sunshine at the bottom-2 hats, gloves, full waterproofs at the top 😳 I definitely don’t need to see Ben again!

Nope πŸ˜‚ I actually can’t even stomach the thought of bacon now πŸ™Š

in reply to

Nothing is going to stop you now 😁

I love Ben and I'd definitely love to go again..

So you have managed to put yourself off bacon? I never thought such a thing would be possible πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

in reply to

πŸ˜†

Given the choice, I’d go as far as the Red Burn again πŸ’¦ On a nice, clear, sunny day! (It was a bit boring after the Burn πŸ˜‚).

Bacon shmacon 🀒

in reply to

I'd go all the way to the top, each time I went before it was either snowing to much or it was to cloudy, I want to see the view from the top πŸ”οΈπŸ”οΈ

Mmmm bacon 🀀

in reply to

I read that there’s a 1 in 7 chance of a view...πŸ‘€ Not doing that 6 more times to test it out πŸ˜‚

Scafell Pike was still covered in snow and ice-I got stuck going up Mickledore chimney. Luckily, two mountain rescue guys were strolling by πŸ”

πŸ₯“ nope πŸ‘Ž

in reply to

1 in 7 erm I'll probably try one more time and thats it 😁

Well that was I but jammy, did you do the lotto that day too πŸ˜…

❀️πŸ₯“πŸ³β€οΈ

in reply to

What if there is no view..it could be a myth πŸ€” πŸ˜‚

I know! All I was worried about was having to be rescued by helicopter and it being all over Facebook 😱😳

Dayum, no I didn’t πŸ™ƒ

in reply to

I never thought if that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I'd say it might have made the news too, imagine that πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

in reply to Supermeisty
