2. Drizzle and bit of a breeze = no where near as bad as I thought and weirdly refreshing
3. Fit, rugby playing, sarcastic,15 year son = totally annoying before and after and a merciful relief that he stayed home during.
4. Going in the dark so no-one recognises you - genius!!!
5. Younger son - aka self appointed personal trainer, whilst scooting (literally on a scooter) around me and spotting multiple axe murders in every shadow = not very helpful, but does make you pick up the pace!
6. Wearing I'll fitting leggings that "ride downwards" - not such a great idea, running whilst holding/hitching them up is not such a great look!!!
7. All in all - far less traumatic than I thought!!!!.

Well done for getting out there and not tripping over your drooping leggings! Bet you'll look back at this first post in 9 weeks time with amazement at how far you've come.
Congratulations on starting C25K, quite an amusing post from you, but I think you will stick the course and be all the better for it once you graduate.
Well done and loved reading your post, give it a week or two and take the 15 yr old, my 16 yr old grandson ran with me on a week one run and struggled to run all the minutes even though fit daily dog walking up hills
I didn't have the annoying child on my first run but I did go out in the dark wearing black to avoid being seen! Now I wear luminous lycra and I don't care who sees me! Actually, having a light or head torch might be a good idea.
Great post - made me laugh. Well done on starting and you will be amazed at your progress. πππππ
Sounds like you have a fab time and your lovely son made his contributions. Yes I have thought so as well how 60seconds seem like an hour when we are under pressure. Very well done. Keep on it.
