Week 4. Finally.

Just catching up.

Took me a month, but I’m finally through W4.

Yesterday I ran R3 on our local Parkrun route, a mix of tarmac, gravel paths and some grass (before that it was always a roadside for me). Did my best time and lived to tell the tale 🤣.

I’ve been doing C25K since the beginning of July and only missed 2 or 3 weeks due to injury and/or illness. Did quite a few repeats, but I’m pretty much at peace with the idea that I’m in for a long haul.

It’s not getting any easier, but my form is better, my heart rate is way better (to the point that I no longer fret about it), my breathing still leaves a lot to be desired.

Ready to tackle W5 and no longer afraid of it!

You’re coming on in leaps and bounds. Bring on the next week. Remember if it feels really hard to slow down. Enjoy!
